Q:
Why use 1 2 3 transported verses all the other companies?
|
| |
A:
With over four years experience exclusively transporting vehicles, we feel that we can transport
your vehicle quick and safe at the most reasonable rate possible. From the time your vehicle is booked
for transport, you are assigned an individual to oversee the transport process with you. You are not
passed from person to person throughout your transport like most other companies. We give each person’s
vehicle the personal care that we would expect for our own vehicles.

|
Q:
What kind of service do you offer?
|
| |
A:
The only service we offer is what is called “door to door” service. What this means is that your
vehicle will be picked up as close as possible to pickup address (at the front door when possible),
and is delivered as close as possible to the delivery address (again, usually at the front door).
The ability to get right to a front door is left to the discretion of the driver. If they are not
able to get right in front of a house (usually because of low hanging limbs or narrow streets),
they will coordinate meeting you at a nearby location that is easily accessible by both parties.

Q:
Should I book my vehicle with more than one company to get faster service?
|
| |
A:
Booking with more than one company at the same time will actually hinder a quick transport of
your vehicle. When your vehicle is booked it will be posted on a national load board. The trucking
companies then view and claim your vehicle (if they have a truck in that area heading in the
direction your vehicle is going). If a trucking company sees your vehicle posted more than once,
they will not call to claim your vehicle. They don’t want to send a truck 50 or 100 miles out
of the way to get a vehicle that may already be picked up by another truck. So, by booking your
vehicle with more than one company at the same time it could actually take longer to get your
vehicle picked up and transported.

|
Q:
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
|
| |
A:
Yes, your vehicle is 100% insured at no deductible to you during the transport. This coverage is provided
by the trucking company that picks your vehicle up. They are required by the D.O.T. to carry a blanket policy that covers
everything they transport. Before your vehicle is loaded onto a carrier, we verify the trucks insurance through their
insurance company. We also obtain a copy of the insurance which we retain at the office in case it is needed.

|
Q:
How safe is it having my vehicle transported?
|
| |
A:
We know people always hear about the "horror stories" of having vehicles transported, but they usually
don't hear about all the successful transports that happen every day. Having transported several thousand vehicles
and only having a few with damage, the percentage of damaged vehicles is less than 1%. In the unlikely event that
damage does occur, the vehicle is covered by the trucking company's insurance.

|
Q:
How quick can my vehicle be picked up?
|
| |
A:
We quote prices that normally get a vehicle picked up in 1-6 days from the time it is ready for
pickup. That price can be adjusted to reflect your individual needs.
|
|
Q:
How long will it take to deliver once my vehicle is picked up?
|
| |
A:
Travel time from coast to coast is usually 7-10 days after the vehicle is picked up. Shorter
transports should take less time. The travel times depend greatly on the specific truck and their route.
|
|
Q:
Is there a way i can track my vehicle during the transport?
|
| |
A:
Yes, after your vehicle has been loaded onto a carrier we can get you
their phone number so you can speak directly with them during the transport.
|
|
Q:
How do I get a quote?
|
| |
A:
You can click on "quote" and fill out the request form
and a quote will be emailed to you as soon as possible. You can also call locally 712-275-4101 or toll free at 866-577-4123
for a quote over the phone.
|
|
Q:
Are there any hidden fees?
|
| |
A:
No, there are no hidden fees. The quoted price includes everything. There are some companies out
there that quote one price and then start added charges for things such as fuel surcharge, insurance surcharge, etc.
Our quote is the total price and does not change unless you change it.
|
|
Q:
How do I pay?
|
| |
A:
The transport is paid for in two separate payments. 1 2 3 Transported collects our fee
via credit card when the vehicle is loaded onto the carrier.
When we get confirmation that the vehicle has been loaded we will contact the person paying for the transport
and obtain credit card information for our fee. The balance is payable straight to the trucking company upon delivery
of the vehicle (they accept cash, cashier' check or money order).

|
